Turkey and Hot Honey Mustard Wrap

Prep3 min
ServesServes 1

Some lunches do not need a plan. This one came together out of a few leftover tortillas and whatever was in the fridge, and it turned out to be exactly right. Hot honey mustard is the whole trick. It brings sweet, tangy, and a little heat all at once, so the turkey never tastes plain. Carolina BBQ chips on the side are not negotiable.

Method

Steps

  1. Lay the tortilla flat and spread the hot honey mustard across the middle, leaving a border at the edges.
  2. Shingle the turkey over the mustard. Add greens if you want a little crunch.
  3. Fold in the two sides, then roll it up tight from the bottom into a wrap.
  4. Cut it in half on the diagonal so it holds together, and pour out the chips.

Notes

  • Toast it if you have a minuteA quick press in a dry pan warms the turkey and crisps the tortilla, which turns a cold wrap into something a little more like a real sandwich. Any hot honey plus grainy mustard makes a fine stand-in if you do not have the pre-mixed kind.
