Japanese Cheesesteak

Japanese Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper mix
  • 1 pound thinly shaved beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • ¼ cup shredded Carrots
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shaved beef in a bowl with 4 tbsp of Bachan’s Original for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the griddle to medium high heat 10 minutes prior to cooking.
  3. Thinly slice the onion and green bell pepper.
  4. Cook the marinated beef on a griddle. Add the onions, carrots and green peppers in a separate pile then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Flip the beef after 3-4 minutes then shred with two metal spatulas as it cooks.
  6. Top the pile of beef with 3 slices of provolone cheese then add the vegetables on top.
  7. Mix everything together once the cheese is melted.
  8. Add a light drizzle of Bachan's on top, then add 3 additional slices of cheese.
  9. Stuff the everything into a hoagie roll then wrap the hoagie in some foil and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  10. Slice in half then enjoy!
